For me, Val Thorens is the very definition of pure skiing joy. A huge number of perfectly
maintained slopes, no waiting or pushing in lift lines, slopes facing all directions, and
breathtaking views from over 3,000 meters. Directly on the slopes, there are several mountain
huts offering everything from drinks and snacks to four-course meals. Some have a calm and
cozy atmosphere, while others feel like you’ve stepped straight from skiing into an amazing
party – so it’s easy to spend the whole day out there. Val Thorens has a one-of-a-kind
atmosphere, and ever since my first visit, I haven’t even looked for other resorts or winter holidays.

We’ve been skiing for many years, but our very first Alpine skiing experience was in Val
Thorens – and we’re so glad it was here! We enjoyed kilometers of beautifully groomed
slopes, served by modern lifts of all kinds. There’s skiing for everyone – from advanced and
occasional skiers to absolute beginners. The services were excellent – not just skiing, but also
restaurants, accommodation, entertainment, and leisure options. Val Thorens is a charming
town, high up in the Alps, with incredible views and tons of snow. Niveus Travel proved to be
a reliable agency with very kind owners who did their best to tailor our winter holiday to our
financial and time needs. We’re so happy we chose both them and this destination – and
we’re definitely planning to come back!

Fantastic skiing, always plenty of high-quality natural snow. A huge number of slopes for

Even for less experienced skiers, Val Thorens is the perfect resort. The slopes aren’t
overcrowded and are groomed to perfection every day. There’s a wide choice of runs with
different levels of difficulty, so everyone can find their match. On top of that, there are plenty
of activities for non-skiers too. I was really satisfied with my stay here – you definitely won’t
get bored.

I’ve been to Val Thorens twice and enjoyed every moment. The resort has countless slopes of varying difficulty, so everyone can find something. The snow is groomed perfectly and just invites you to let loose. There are both gondolas and chairlifts, and even the rides themselves are an experience thanks to the stunning views of rocky peaks. The resort is also well-prepared for bad weather – adults and kids alike will find plenty to do. As for accommodation, there’s something for everyone, whether you’re more demanding or not. I was very satisfied – everything was clean and functional, which is not always a given. I think even visitors who don’t ski will love it here – just take a lift up and soak in the breathtaking surroundings. I definitely recommend Val Thorens to everyone.
